what is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a great way to gain what employers are looking for: qualifications and experience.

As an apprentice you will learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills whilst gaining a qualification and earning a wage. You will gain invaluable insight into the world of work and pick up key skills that future employers want.

Anyone aged 16 or above who has completed education can apply for an apprenticeship. Northern Skills Group provide apprenticeships across the North East and Yorkshire covering everything from Business Admin and Dental Nursing to Accounting and Engineering. Take a look at our full range of Apprenticeship Programmes and decide what programme is right for you.
